[8] A decade of outsourcing in health and social care in England: What was it meant to achieve?

Interpretation: We analyse policy documents detailing the reasons for outsourcing of health and social care. The aims included: improving accessibility, availability and diversity of services. Also improving quality, patient choice, and wellbeing of residents. But the best available evidence we have suggests it hasn’t achieved those aims.
